You and I will meet again

why do you weep?
what are these tears upon your face?
soon you will see
all of your fears will pass away
safe in my arms
you’re only sleeping

what can you see on the horizon?
why do the white gulls call?
across the sea
a pale moon rises
the ships have come to carry you home

and all will turn
to silver glass
a light on the water
grey ships pass
into the West

Annie Lennox – Into the West

I have no more classes to attend. Only the final tests in March. Tomorrow I have my last shift at Subway. Then, I’ll study. And read. And relax. I’m halfway trough Tolkien’s Silmarillion and I’m loving it.

We’ll visit my aunt and the cousins later today and do a little shopping as well.

And today I realized how much I’m going to miss my class next year — we’re having so much fun filming the senior video. I haven’t laughed so much for ages. Going to enjoy every bit of this spring, despite it being full of tears and sweat and exams

Sorry, I don’t have that much to say today. Everything’s well now.

Edit: Oh – my – GOD how I hate hate hate modems! I very greatly dislike technology at the very moment! THE RAGE, my friends, the rage is enormous — never buy a new mobile wi-fi, one thing I’ve learnt today. And never trust the customer service. Oh god I need to get some fresh air, maybe a nice jog will do its magic.

I calmed down, eventually — but those things never work at first! How irritating, they should come with great thick manuals.
And it’s me πŸ™‚ Decided it’s about time to post a photo of myself.. haha!

I guess it’s about time! Goodness, girl, you have grown to be so beautiful! I thought it might be you, but hated to say, “Who’s that beauty behind the camera” for fear it was your beautiful friend or cousin and . . . oh well, no need to think that way! πŸ™‚

You are absolutely right, but you know some people do not feel beautiful. We all wonder, sometimes, if we measure up to the standards of those around us, in our appearance, wrong or right. And it is such a fleeting thing that hardly matters, in the end. Still, nice to be so gifted in beauty, and fun to be the age when beauty is at its peak. Right? πŸ™‚
