Last beams of summer

Travelling again – I’m in the middle of Finland this time. Visiting Lotta. It’s all lakes, hills, pine trees and water here in Säynätsalo – lovely. Don’t try to make me spell that name again, by the way.

And yes, I am in the water still wearing jeans.

Looks like a very nice place. Hope you are having or had a great time. One of the nice things about travel is the time you spend with friends and family. I know it is nice to see places but places without friends and family are just that – places. I think it is always great to see how someone lives because once in your own room at home you can travel and visit your loved ones again and again because you know where you are going and where you have been. Thank you.

We had such wonderful time by that lake, thank you 🙂 I totally agree with you – travelling makes so much more sense when there’s someone with you who knows those little insider stories about the cracks in the road or why they say the empty old house is haunted. Nothing’s better than a good story to get back to when you’re feeling tired or down!
